If you like to hike, fish or just enjoy being outdoors, visit Upper and Lower Greeley Ponds.
I took the trail in from Waterville Valley off the Livermore Road. Easy grade for thefirst mile with some elevation in the second mile before entering a nice secluded valley floor befoire revealing thefirstpond. The second pond is just a ways up on the left. Very nice 7 mile in and out. Kids should be used to hiking that long. Bring a lunch and your camera. A great fall foliage hike.

A windy, somewhat rocky trail reveals a spectacul;ar 185 degree view of the East, the Presidentials and Waterville Valley to the south east. Tremendous. A must on a clear, sunny day. You will want summit pictures of your hiking crew!

Year-round recreation area offering skiing and snowboarding in the winter, plus hiking, golfing and biking during the warmer months.
This is one of the best mountains in New England. I take snowboard lessons a couple of times each year and have been impressed with the instructors. Go with Chris Gilmore for snowboarding lessons. I never stop learning from him. My snowboarding has improved a great deal over the last few years thanks to his continuous feedback. On top of that, he films me with my GoPro so that I can see how much I progress after each lesson. I highly recommend Waterville Valley.
