Gibbs Beach

White sand and calm clear waters make this beach an ideal location for afternoon loafing.

Lovely beach, there are some choral and small rocks between the sand and the water so be careful where you step! Its quiet, no amenities but you only need to wander to Mullins beach for refreshments etc.

One of the top 5 beaches I’ve ever been to. Beautiful sand, amazing water, ideal for families with kids. Almost no people. Parking for free next to the beach. Just take your own beach tent or any other shade ;)

Barbados Wildlife Reserve

See the wildlife of the tropics: hares, otters and lots of monkeys.

Reviewed By chattygirl7491

We arranged private tour through Sandals. It was a taxi and driver .. this was on the list of places we wanted to visit. We came to see the green monkeys. There are lots of tortoises walking about .. you have to watch were you walk of you will trip over them. At 2pm they bring out a wheel barrel full of fruit and spread it out for all the animals so be there before 1:30 and try not to go when there is a cruise ship. The monkeys are "wild" and free .. they know to come over the fence to get fed. The green monkeys are small and were not aggressive. they are obviously used to being around people .. they were very close to the people. But they are wild animals .. so obviously just don't touch them. I felt very safe. there were other animals .. some sort of deer, something that looked like a huge short eared rabbit, peacocks. wear bug spray!

Farley Hill National Park

Pleasant park with a spectacular view of the eastern coast of the island; great for afternoon picnics.

Reviewed By tripper045 - Ontario, Canada

one of our stops on the island bus tour and it was a spectacular view of the Atlantic ocean crashing to shore. There are vendors up there selling their wares and cold drinks, to keep everyone cooled off. A must see view!
