The city of Ratlam lies 480 metres (1,575 feet) above sea level. It is the administrative headquarters of Ratlam district, which was created in 1947 after the independence of India. This Dam is located near 15 Kms from Ratlam. The dam has tried to ease the water shortage issue for the farmers close to Ratlam. In winter time there is a nice breeze at the dam so a great place for a picnic

The Cactus Garden is located at the MP - Rajasthan connecting highway. The Garden is very nice as there are Cactus of various size. Seems to be an innovative concept so one must go there.
