New Delhi is all at once chaotic and calm, a complicated city where cows often wander the shanty-lined streets. The 17th century Red Fort is a mass of domes and turrets, while Chandni Chowk is an exercise in friendly haggling. Jantar Mantar features larger-than-life sundials and astronomical instruments that are still used to predict the weather. Travelers and locals flock to the India Gate, the national monument of India that honors the soldiers who died in World War I and the Third Afghan War.

This garden is designed to stimulate all five senses with its beauty and attractions and give us a chance to touch, smell, hear and see our natural surroundings
Flower show of this garden is an important event in February. Park timings are from 9am-6 pm with entry ticket of Rs 30/- and its off located on Mehrauli Badarpur road. We had a good family time during the show and enjoyed various flower varieties in full bloom. There is exhibition cum sale of nursery during the show. Place has lot of eateries around. It has elaborate walking tracks. Good for family picnics. There is peace and tranquility all around when the show os over. Its perched on top a hill. It has a restaurant inside and lot of water plants too. Its a good educational tour for families too.
