It began with the objective of showcasing and preserving the Heritage of Mussoorie and the adjoining areas. It archives and displays the historical heritage of Mussoorie from 1814 when the first map of the region was compiled by the Survey of India, till 1959, when HH Dalai Lama came.

Kasmanda Palace is a unique living history museum constructed around 1836. One of the oldest surviving buildings of Mussoorie. It was a part of the Christ Church complex, which was built in 1836. Walking in the corridors will take you back in time with old picture of the Royal family and is also a mini natural history museum. Great views of the town and lovely gardens. A great day out.

Good to see wax statue here in mussoorie. This museum is located inside the company garden and has separate ticket counter inside The statues are plenty here of celebrities Indian and foreign, scientists, sportsperson etc.
