Ulcinj (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Улцињ, pronounced [ǔlt͡siɲ]; Albanian: Ulqin or Ulqini) is a town on the southern coast of Montenegro and the capital of Ulcinj Municipality. It has an urban population of 10,707 (2011), the majority being Albanians.

Palata Venezia represent the most attractive area in Ulcinj's Old town. Central part of area of hotel Palata Venezia represent former "Becir Bay House" and it can be rightly assumed that it used to be a municipal palace, royal, princely and bey's court, and today it is a family museum of well known family Resulbegovic.

This monument commemorates the fallen fighters and civilian victims from the town and the surrounding area who perished during World War II (WWII). Part of the commemorative intention of this monument is to memorialize the Yugoslav airmen as the four concrete wing-like shapes central to the memorial sculpture are directly intended to represent the wings of soaring aircraft.
In area of hotel "Palata Venezia" was set up the statue of famous Spanish writer Miguel De Cervantes. Miguel De Cervantes made our Ulcinj's girl named Dulcinea famous all over the world. The statue was erected due to the big influence that his stay in Ulcinj had on his work and the most famous masterpiece in the world.
In area of hotel “Palata Venezia” was erected a statue of Sabbatai Zevi (Shabbetai Zvi/Sabataj Cevi) because he marked a part of the world's cultural heritage that, with his appearance and his teachings, made a great contribution to history, in our country and in the world. Sabbatai Zevi was one of the most famous person of his time and certainly one who left an indelible mark among the ancient walls of Old town.
