We booked a private tour for 4 people to Pamukkale with Ali from Kusadasi, and had such a great experience. Ali was genuinely nice, had a great knowledge of the area and history and fielded all our random questions. While it's a long drive there and back, it's without a doubt worth the trek. The large van was comfortable, driver was very safe, and Ali made the tour very memorable. And if you're interested in leather, he had a great store that was optional to stop into that had a great variety of quality leather jackets and products.

I arrived unaware what to expect a single glaswegian guy on his own the small drive from fetiye was a lovely trip on its own but be prepared at least take a towel or change of footwear as it is very wet which is not a bad thing when the weather is hitting the 90s but fresh mountain river water clear enough to drink in torrents like a jaccuzzi was lovely then the walk up the towering cliffs at least 15 stories high keeps you shaded, i had the misfortune of ripping my shorts in my first 10 yards only happens to me ha ha

Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy this boat to the fullest due to Covid restrictions and some things not being allowed, such as the foam party. This was part of the reason we booked it for my son - however there wasn't really much children's entertainment either so that was a bit of a disappointment. However, the staff were friendly enough and still had good banter with the kids, especially Jack Sparrow and the guy who was doing the photography. The photos were nice but I think a tad over priced for me personally. But it was a nice momento for my son as it was his first time in Turkey and also out on boats at sea and swimming in the sea. The staff were very encouraging and helped get him in to the way as he was a bit apprehensive about it. We also enjoyed a short shopping trip at a small village, and lunch was lovely.

While most Americans are uncertain about Turkeys politcal stability as a tourist, I can assure you that all those fears are unfounded and with the help of our Wonderful guide Engin we discovered Turkey in several dimensions. He gave us all great insight on the history of Turkey and the dinamics with surrounding countries through the centuries. Engin is a super attentive and caring man. We had a chance to his little Jr and my kids had a blast. Engin helped us coordinate many different activities and manage the change of plans super nicely. I not only recommend Turkey as a great destination with awesome food and drinks super nice and receptive people to everyone but Engin as a wonderful attentive guide for anybody's tour needs within his entire country. His knowledge not only of the history but the geography furnishes tourists with a great vivid image of Turkey then and now.
