Visited Zamm again since I feel my energies are so dispersed lately and can't quite find my center. I was pleasantly surprised at how in depth and how enlightening she is. Zamm took the time to carefully explain every facet and minute detail of my reading. I thought maybe 15 mins was all-turned out to be an hour's worth of genuine sincerity and empathy, and a lot of enlightenment and encouragement. she definitely helped lift a huge load of my shoulders and helped me find my center and refocus. Thank you Zamm for treating me like an old friend!

What an amazing place to see! The tour gives an up close look at some of the fantastic creations and special effects created by Peter Jackson's talented crew for "Lord of the Rings," "King Kong," "District 9," etc. In one section, you are actually permitted to touch bits of costumes - to see how heavy (or light) head pieces are, or what the chainmail feels like. On weekdays, you can watch the craftspeople working. You can only take photographs outside and in one room toward the end of the tour, but those places will give you opportunities for some really fun pictures. And if you're looking for some seriously impressive gifts for the movie fan in your life, their gift shop probably has your answer.

The Holocaust Centre of New Zealand is country's national Holocaust education and remembrance Centre, sharing the stories of the survivors of Nazi persecution, who came to make New Zealand their home. Read their stories, see DVDs of their testimony and learn the history of the Holocaust in a NZ context. We also hold commemorative events, film screenings and guest speakers. Bi-annually we raise funds to send 25 - 30 NZ educators to Yad Vashem in Israel for an intensive programme on Holocaust Education, enhancing the skills of teachers to teach the Holocaust within their own schools. Our vision is that through testimony, experience & advocacy we will inspire and empower individuals to stand against prejudice, discrimination and apathy. We are a not-for-profit charity existing primarily on grants and donations. Public entry is free but a donation would be much appreciated. Donations over $5 are valid for tax receipts. Open till 4pm on the last Sunday of every month.
