The Karaoke Cave, near Union Square in Greenwich Village, has a spacious bar and lounge, four private rooms and a huge, regularly updated song list. Private rooms can be hired for $4 per person per hour before 8pm, and for $8 after plus tax/gratuity. Located directly underneath Le Midi Bar & Restaurant, the cave is a friendly and welcoming place whether you are an amateur or Broadway star. There is no cover charge and you get a free song with the purchase of a drink. Happy hour: 5pm-8pm Sunday to Friday. Special party packages also available and food can be ordered at the bar from Le Midi upstairs.
