Sydney offers plenty of historical and contemporary Australian flavor. The marvelous Sydney Opera House looks like a great origami sailboat, floating peacefully in a harbor. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of The Rocks and then take in a street performance on the Circular Quay before heading into the Museum of Contemporary Art. The views from the Sydney Tower Eye observatory are epic – use this chance to get to know the layout of the city from high above.

Great cosy little venue hidden away in an office building! Good bar service and pizza menu. Highly recommended for small performance.

The Hero of Waterloo offers a pub tour offered by local historians of the pub for $20, which includes a drink. It was amazing. See the stone blocks hewn by convict labor. View the actual tunnel used by smugglers and kidnappers. While enjoying your beverage, soak in the stories that you have heard realizing that they all happened here. You can feel your skin crawl imagining the smiling young farmer drinking with the smiling prostitute and barkeep, members of Sydney's infamous Push gangs, already marked to be Shanghaied in the tunnel below. Across the bar sits a convict who worked on the Tank Stream. In the corner, you can hear the young Aussie light horse troopers cheering future glories, oblivious what horrors they will soon experience. This place is absolutely amazing and well worth your tour. Definitely ask questions - the more interactive you are the more you will get out of the tour. Thank you "Captain Phil".
