The bed was comfy, had a nice bath, breakfast was nice but crowded, but the place is eerie on the 3rd floor and 1st at night. doors randomly opened and closed on the first floor when i tried to find the lobby, it's on the second. the third floor room i stayed in is 313. there were weird noises sounding like someone cracking a whip. I didn't open my eyes but found another review of a haunting in this hotel in room 213 where they saw a shadow figure in the middle of the night. it's spooky, i like scary movies, but it wasn't fun being spooked here. j

Welcome to the charming and historic town of Woodstock, Virginia! This adorable little town, with a population of about 3,500 is nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, between the Allegheny and Blue Ridge Mountains. The town was established by charter in 1761 by none other than George Washington in Virginia*s House of Burgesses and has been the county seat since Shenandoah County was formed in 1772. The limestone courthouse in the center of town was built in 1795 and was designed by Thomas Jefferson.
Saw this Hamton Inn from the hwy, booked online and in our room 20 minutes later. Check in was a breeze, front desk professional and welcoming. Very clean and safe hotel with great a/c, water pressure ,etc. Would have rated 5 stars but the bed is nothing to write home about, I was so tired I didn't care that much. A quality Hampton experience.

I stayed at this hotel with excellent and friendly staff. The bed was a bit over welcoming with a load pile high of softness; however, I enjoyed my sleeping in that bed. The breakfast was a bit complicated due to COVID practices, packages of breakfast were provided as we select what we would like in the morning using the paper menu. I kept forgetting to request on other days than the first day, so a gentle reminder would have been nice. I was always on the go. Overall, the stay was just an average stay but recommends you to visit as I would definitely visit again.

The room looks clean, but smells dirty. We switched from a king bed to two queens and was charged $50 extra dollars. Incidentally, we did add an extra adult. However, we would have only paid $45 extra if we had three dogs. Doesn’t seem fair. I’m leaving this place in my rear view mirror.
