absolutely stunning - blown away
Reviewed By PedrolinhoWent here for a business travel visiting a company in the area who actually arranged for our stay at the hotel Attersee so had no idea what awaited me. It doesn't look like much from the street side - but when I entered my room and stepped out on the balcony I was just sold - what an absolutely stunning mountain lake view - I could spend hours on this balcony - wow. So went to the bar for a weiss bier which we took to the big see view terrace and we just sat there bedazzled by the scenery. Then we went for dinner in the restaurant and wow - this was yet another pleasant surprice - delicious food - well prepared - and decorative. Also great breakfast - not big what all that is is very good quality and well prepared - scrambled eggs and bacon, great bread, cheese, cold cuts - really nice. So all in all - I will return with my family for some days during the summer to enjoy a swim in the lake and to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the great atmosphere at this hotel.

Reviewed By Jo_Chen_LahI stay regular in this hotol since 2011 and noticed a positive change in service and quality in food. also was the Hotel (room-by-room) renovated and doesn't look that typical Austrian farm-house-style anymore. what they have forgotten though,.. was/is to change the mattresses, you still fell like the baby-boom back in the 80's originated here... Service attitude and food quality improved over the last year too, very positive. the breakfast buffet is rather small with not too much variation to choose from.. room for improvement too the location straigh on lake Attersee is fantastic, so if you only need a relaxing place to sleep, with some decent food and don't expect too much fancy add-on's this is the place. Summer(high-season) rates are at the top-end though also they have Wifi nowadays in the Hotel, welcome 21st century!
