A Great Day Starts with a Wonderful Shower!
Reviewed By YRMWTOut of all the German hotels and B&B we stayed in while visiting, the Parkhotel is the nicest with the reference being in room 5. Our stay in Schwarzenberg was for four nights. The room’s view was extraordinaire, as if you were looking out into a train garden. And when nightfall came, all of the street lights along with the houses were magical. It was an emotional view. A balcony exists with a table and 2 chairs for relaxing. The bathroom was beautiful with a really nice sized shower, one where you don’t hit the walls or accidentally hit the water controls to turn off the cold! The buffet for breakfast was very nice with an offering of tea or coffee along with the juices. There was wonderful breads and scrambled eggs. In town, we found a nice coffee cafe in the old section called “Kaffee Träume”. Also a short 30 minute drive to Cranzahl is the starting point for the excursion train ride to Kurort Oberwiesenthal. A good choice
Reviewed By Bedrich MIn the hotel we spent three nights and we greatly appreciated his location and the immediate surroundings. The hotel is built in the beautiful countryside of the Erzgebirge Mountains high above the valley outside of human settlements. It is perfect for guests who prefer a quiet and relaxing place, not a hilarious nightlife. Each day in the evening we sat on the terrace till late night with a bottle of a good wine and in the morning with a delicious breakfast in the morning sunshine. Just lovely relaxing ambience. There is no elevator in the hotel, which was not a problem for us, but for elderly people with limited mobility, it might be. The room was spacious enough with the standard furniture, including a minibar. There is a nice indoor swimming pool in the hotel, with, however, only few chairs around and it was not enough place there where to sit and relax. For guests with half board were prepared buffet style dinners. The food was not bad actually, but at the 4* hotel I would expect served dinner a la carte. Breakfast was rich and delicious. Helpful and friendly staff.

Busy hotel in centre of Square
Reviewed By J099We stayed her for 1 night prior to attending MotoGP at Sachenring. Hotel located up the hill in town square - beware there are bollards up at night and lots of one way streets so difficult to actually get to the square to park. About 45 minute drive to circuit Bedroom was on 3rd floor - no lift or air-conditioning - modern, clean and comfortable Dinner - we ate on the terrace outside as it was so warm, food was good and served with a smile Breakfast - again good choice, served from 7am If in the area would stay again - visit the Piano bar just round the corner for a post dinner drink - nice place

Reviewed By buonastella64The hotel is well located in the middle of the lower part of Village and there is a mall in front of it where you can find almost everything. A little walk to Porsche plant. I agree that it should be renewed because it is 80's style.. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the personal is very friendly and available, a good restaurant and a nice little Biergarden on the Village river..I would definitely come back!

Great and Friendly Accommodation
Reviewed By robpart17Really great place to stay and very friendly with excellent breakfast. The restaurant was great food and great value but unfortunately only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Setting was really good and the supermarket next door very convenient.
