Reviewed By Nana0216ABThe new owners have done an excellent job of remodeling the inside of rooms. All new everything and very clean and the staff is very friendly. The rates are very reasonable and location is close to stores.

Oak Ridge provides comfortable, relaxing accommodations on the shores of Lake Fork Reservoir in North East Texas. All motel rooms have air conditioning, color TVs, microwaves and mini-fridge. Nestled on nearly a 1/2 mile of shore front, the Oak Ridge Marina and Motel offers a picturesque fishing experience.
Labor Day Weekend
Reviewed By Charlene MWe had reservations for the weekend. Upon going in the room there were several spider webs in the room and it looked like no one had been there for quite some time. Went to the bathroom and there were stinging scorpions and ants all in the shower. We went back to the office and explained we would not be staying due to the room conditions and I am allergic to scorpions. I would have taken pictures but did not want to chance staying in the room and getting stung. I was told that my $254.00 transaction would be voided and not charged and now 5 days later it is still not cancelled. Called twice to talk with someone and was told that the owner would call me and still nothing....Be careful if you choose to stay here.

Reviewed By Cruiser213904Not a good experience. If we hadn't been so tired from traveling for a funeral in Quitman we would have found another place to stay. Hard bed, dirty carpets, questionable bedding, ever changing water temperatures, hot water would not turn off, the list continues. Staff was nice. They clearly had no control over the disgusting environment. Not worth even 10.00 a night.
