Reviewed By PedroM7873I have stayed in this hotel on Saturday 7th of November. The staff is very professional and polite, great breakfast, and amazing accommodation. Very clean, and comfortable. You will not find any better than this in the area. 100% recommend!

Quinta de Santo António do Cardal is a rural property of the XIX century (remodeled in 2015) located on the left bank of the Mondego River, with the city of Figueira da Foz on the horizon. In addition to their main business, agriculture (production of wine, olive oil, cereals, fruit and cork), served as a retreat for leisure owners and friends, using much of the local population. As a reference in the region, contains secrets kept by time. Recently restored, it meets the tourist function, allowing guests to enjoy a unique landscape that breathes peace. The house is located on a property of about 10 hectares, lined by oaks, cedars, pines, olive trees and trees fruit, where water furrows the land between vegetation and stones. Freedom of paths that run allows you to enjoy beautiful walks or outdoor sports. It offers spaces where you can organize business or leisure events, receive your friends or gather your family.
A hidden gem with a top quality renovation work
Reviewed By Mare SWe loved Quinta do Santo Antonio. The owner did an outstanding job with the renovation and the photos don't give justice. She was able to recuperate all originals from structure to furnitures and appliances. Whatever she added new just matched perfectly. A clear design concept yo start with which was consistently applied throughout the renovation and interiorism work. That is the thing that stroke me first. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The location is a bit hidden which is part of its charm. And they are organized to serve you dinner if you don't want to drive. They also have a great honesty bar also serving high quality "conservas" which is traditional fish canned food. Breakfast is good as they use organically grown produces when possible. And for 60€ a night one cannot ask for more. You cam have the meals outdoor next to the pool overlooking the vast garden. One thing to note is that one or two bedroom have private bathroom outside the bedroom. If this is important for you make sure you ask for an ensuite bathroom. Reviewed By Focus WVery nice hotel and helpful staff. Has parking for large van but on street was just as easy but do apply hand break as on a steep hill. Clean rooms and with nice view. Not a lot to do in the area and only one or 2 restaurants about. More of a pass though than anything else for us. Castle in town and a few shops. Bit like a dead town but we were in the area back in nov 2019
