Mauriac is a busy market town with good sports and leisure facilities. There is a lake and a beach, an aqua leisure centre, an 9-hole golf course, 7 tennis courts (2 undercover), a bowl playing area, a skateboard park, a go-kart circuit, a horse-riding centre, walking circuits and places to go fishing.

Reviewed By Michael MAnother good find on our 4 month road trip through Europe. Nothing booked in advance, hope for the best late afternoon!! Only had 1 night here, good sized room & bathroom, everything spotless which is our main criteria.

Excellent B&B in beautiful valley
Reviewed By NickinCantalThe B&B is situated in a lovely valley at the end of a country road. It is a beautiful Cantal house with four very nice bedrooms, each one themed. Danielle et Jean-Louis, the hosts, are extremely hospitable and always very helpful. It is an excellent base for walking with marked routes starting from the property. There are some lovely places to visit nearby - notably Salers - a medieval fortified town with interesting museums and craft shops. The mountain range nearby also has excellent walks. The local countryside is stunning and wonderful for picnics by babbling brooks and sampling the local Cantal cheese. The locals are very friendly and I heartily recommend the guesthouse for those who love the countryside.

Reviewed By Sylag81Cette chambre d 'hôtes située à Boulan- MAURIAC (15) est superbe, très propre et moderne . Chambre spacieuse avec salle de bain et wc privé. La nuitée avec petit-déjeuner est à 90 € . A faire en couple ou en famille avec enfant. Lieu reposant et Hôte très sympa, à notre disposition pour nous accueillir. Et l 'hôte peut vous préparer le repas pour 23 €, si vous le souhaitez. Tout est fait Maison par cette hôte très gentille et serviable. Si vous passez par Boulan. A conseiller +++??
