Explore authentic and colourful Myanmar while staying at this family run Guest House off the beaten track. Perched high above the Irrawaddy River, you'll find 15 comfortable rooms with amazing views. All come with private bathroom, aircon and a delicious breakfast. Restaurant open for dinner. Lei Thar Gone is more than a Guest House. Your stay helps fund our nearby Light of Love High School. Over 100 children, mostly orphans from poor families, are studying here in hope of a better future.
We stayed 3 nights as a 4-member family in 2 adjoining rooms in one of the bungalows. Our stay was one of the highlights of our three week self-organised tour of Myanmar. The rooms are air-conditioned, clean and comfortable and with screened windows. We took the advice of the guesthouse staff and explored the local area: the hand-made brickworks in the Ayeyarwady valley below and the town of Yenangyaung nearby. It is worthwhile acquainting oneself with the history of the guesthouse, its founder Eric, and the Yerangyaung area as an historical oil producing area. This information is in the reception area. Eric founded the Light of Love school nearby to provide high quality education to local children. This school is financed by the guesthouse as well as overseas benefactors. Breakfast is included and lunch and dinner can be ordered at a very reasonable cost. Cuisine is European/local and of very high quality. Our stay at LTG was a unique opportunity to get up close and personal to Myanmar life, people and landscape, as well as support the education of the local children. The management, Eric and Therese and staff recruited from the local villages are extremely helpful and friendly.

The house, the garden and the host make the stay perfect. It's arriving in a magical garden with character right at the riverside. Food was fantastic using local products and recipes and the typical Myanmar breakfast one of the best I had in the whole country. The room was very comfortable with charming decoration. Visit Salay as it's a very nice little town and stay here for a couple of days.

We are one of the hotel in Minbu City, Myanmar.
Honestly, nothing particular to mention about this hotel but it is a place to stay for one a two nights while you're in that area. Breakfast not bad but not so good, room bit narrower than other in same level, staffs are good but need to improved, wifi is not stable are disadvantages for visitors. Anyway, hot and cold shower, clean bedding, location is good and its restaurant is terrific.

I only came to Pakokku for one reason, to visit the town wher my father was born in 1905. So glad I chose to stay in Hotel Juno. Everything was fine here. Staff, room, surroundings, and breakfasts. The staff were very helpful.
