The Brunow Palace is a picturesque complex of three historic buildings, surrounded by an English park. We offer 145 accommodation places in the stylish interiors of the palace, the back-premises and former carriage depot. Each room is unique, decorated in a classical spirit.
Lovely food, sercive oriented and kids-friendly personnel, saunas, jacuzzi, swimming pool and outdoor playground for kids. We visited as an extended family of 20 people and had a great time. We will be back for sure!

The Green Oval Inn is operated by a wife-and-husband team of experienced travellers who have roamed quite a few deserts in Africa in their beloved Land Rover Defenders before they became infatuated with the cosy green valley of Ploczki Gorne village and decided to settle here. The 200-year-old sandstone building has been meticulously refurbished under the strict supervision of the State Monuments Conservator's Office. The result: a unique place where you are surrounded by centuries-old sandstone walls and larch-wood ceilings, not a common thing in a region which saw so many adversities in the past. An historical curiosity is that the house was probably developed with the participation of French prisoners just who in 1813, after losing the Battle of the Beaver, were in Prussian captivity. An aura of mystery and hidden treasures accompanies this house and the entire area of the Ostrzyca mountain the extinct volcano whose slopes are said to protect chests with gold from the Third Reich . Trying to keep every little detail we renovated surviving farmhouse with a unique design at one end of the eaves. We kept the traditional earthen fill, external walls paneled. The interior wall are of adobe bricks and clay and the inner court has a renewed floor of magnificent sandstone. It is interesting that the same sandstone from near Lwowek was used in Berlin at the Reichstag building and the construction of the Brandenburg Gate.
We booked Gosciniec Pod Zielonym Jajem as it welcomes dogs and it simply looked nice and located in an area we had not visited before. The house is located in a quiet area in a small village close to Lwowek and, as is clearly visible, the owner has put a lot of effort in the restoration of the premise. The house has a warm and inviting atmosphere with a nice restaurant/bar/sitting area. Also there is a garden area with some sitting, deck chairs and a play tool for kids. The entire place is very clean which is not that easy with a lot of guests with dogs, our compliments to owner and staff for this achievement! The room we had (no. 9) was very spacious with a nice interior, a very sizeable bathroom with toilet and a proper size shower cabin. There was enough storage space for clothing and other things available. The beds are of a good quality, only small remark we would have is that the materials of the pillows could be improved. The breakfast has a good variety of products with every day some changes so there is always something new. We definitely enjoyed our breakfasts. Breakfast is served at a fixed time, due to COVID measures with a higher number of guests there are 2 sessions, 08.30 and 09.20. If a lower number of guests breakfast is served at 09.00. We had 3 dinners at the Gosciniec, the first evening we had 3 courses but from the 2nd evening we decided to skip some as the portions are sizeable and only the main course was already enough for us. Quality of the food was good and tasty. There is also sufficient choice of good tasting local beer, wine and stronger alcohols. The other 2 dinners we could, due to technical issues, not have at the house however, no worry as Mr. Antoni gave good information about the possibilities in the vicinity in relation to available restaurants. The owner is also very much willing to enthusiastically share his knowledge of the area and thanks to his advices we had some nice trips. About the staff? Simply great, friendly, attentive and happy to help you in case of questions or needs. There is a silence policy from 23.00 till 07.00 so this is not a place for extensive partying! As it is an old house with a lot of wood, the floors can create some noise but that is the charm of such house in our view. WIFI-connection was reasonable to good. We can definitely recommend Gosciniec Pod Zielonym Jajem if you want to spend some nice time close to nature in a friendly atmosphere.

Clean, modern, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, great location – leafy area overlooking town but 5mins walk from the main square – and not very expensive. Cannot ask for more in a town like Lwowek Slaski. The only thing to be aware – the hotel seems to be main town’s hub for parties, receptions, weddings, etc. So it may be quite noisy day and night. Rooms are however reasonable well insulated from the noise. I will go back whenever in the area.
