We were visiting a friend who lives in the village. A friendly welcome by Daniel, our host, who offered us a drink on arrival. Our friend couldn't find a restaurant for diin and Daniel said the 3 of us were welcome to eat there. A great decision as he is a talented chef and we were treated to a top-class meal . A nice swimming pool and lovely views. We were lucky to find it and I would recommend anyone in the area looking for somewhere to stay to make a detour To stay there. If we are anywhere near in the future we certainly will.

Bounetis Bas offers holiday homes and rooms. It is situated on a mountain with beautiful views over the valley. The garden has several cosy corners and beautiful terraces. It's a place to relax. Let yourself be carried away by the beautiful views, sipping a delicious wine and eating a good meal while enjoying the sunset in the evening ... live like God in France! Of course you can also have fun in the heated swimming pool with sun terrace or play a game of pétanque. There are various recreational lakes, some of which include water sports and (sailing) boat rentals. Canoeing on the rivers, visiting caves, tree climbing parks, museums etc. The Tarn-et-Garonne is not a big tourist department, but there are plenty of things to see and do. The Canal du Midi flows through along a hiking and cycling path and also the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella crosses the Tarn-et-Garonne. Also for those who like culture there is plenty to discover and visit.
The location was absolutely gorgeous. The room we had was enormous, very comfortable and it was extremely reasonably priced. The breakfast was first class (we stayed for four nights and got something different every morning) and they even prepared us a wonderful dinner on one evening. The pool area is superb and there is an honesty bar so you can help yourself to drinks at any time you wish. The real strength of this place, however, is the hosts. Ivo and Ineke are both wonderful people who will go miles out of their way to help. Thank you both for a fantastic stay!

The picture on the website looks good. It advertises Hotel, Restaurant and Bar. Not true when I stayed. The Restaurant and Bar were CLOSED. The room was clean but a strong smell of damp, especially the bedding. The water in the pool was green and looked like it had not been cleaned for a long time. The place could be nice just needs a bit of TLC How much trouble would it be to air the rooms to get rid of the smell of damp.

Discover this authentic part of France between the rivers Lot and Tarn with its beautiful nature, nature and mostly mediaeval towns. The old Mansion, center point of our spacious but equally intimate Domaine is prominently present and provides a view over the splendid valley. Our guests choose for a holiday, a long weekend or make a stopover on a journey through France. They either stay at the Domaine to relax or consider it as a comfortable place to discover the region. You can stay in one of the chambres d'hotes or in the gite, restored in style with modern comfort. Enjoy the calmness and the spaciousness; in the shadow of the old orchard, in the sun at the poolside or wherever you like on the premises. Pick your choice from the large variety of fruit trees and enjoy our honest French kitchen. We invite you to enjoy this unique spot. Hans & Annelies
The property Saint-Fort is close to the small town Lauzerte. It consists of a very nice gite and a couple of beautiful and large chambres d'hôtes with nice furniture. There is also a perfect, clean swimming pool. The Dutch landlady and landlord are very welcoming and helpful. A couple of times during the week the landlady prepares a very good dinner (table d'hôte). The atmosphere is very quiet but friendly to children.
