Mediocre food compared top many other places in the area. The desert, clafoutis, was microscopic for the price of 6,- euros. Certainly, considering that this is one of the easiest and cheapest deserts to make.

We have returned to this lovely B&B several times since our first stay in 2017 and will continue to do so. Fanny and her family are welcoming hosts only too happy to help with touring suggestions. La Ferme Fleurie is a beautiful garden, a tranquil setting, set back a bit from the main road D703 conveniently accessed for driving to all the sites around near and far….it is just down the road from La Roque Gageac and one can see Domme from the garden. Not to be missed are the Table d’Hôtes, communal dinners every night but Wednesday. For a true taste of the Perigord, this is the place…. Fanny, an excellent cook, learned traditional recipes from her grandmother. Breakfasts are delicious and copius. Great Value

Spent a couple of nights here. Immediately asked to an upgraded room from the very tired one we were offered having booked via Booking.com. Staff very helpful in offering us a quiet recently refurbished room on the 3rd floor (no lift available) at the back overlooking Domme at no extra charge which brought overall standard to just about average. Still a bit pricey for what it was. Cheaply furnished, but clean. All credit to the front of house duo who were helpful and polite throughout. Swimming pool was a plus, albeit unheated. Adequate breakfast included in the price. Grounds and facilities generally looked run down and couldn't recommend staying for more that a couple of nights at most when so many other to choose from in the area. Photos on the various websites now seem out of date. Handed the room door handle to the receptionist when leaving as it had dropped off during our short stay.

Close to the pictoresque village La Roque-Gageac, this farm house offers a peaceful, typical Dordogne-stylish atmosphere. It has a nice swimming-pool, and a lush garden bustling with birds. We were greeted and treated very friendly by our host, and it was a pleasure to enjoy breakfast at the poolside each morning. The family room is indeed for close relatives; The two sleeping-rooms are linked together by the bathroom. The general standard is intermediate, with a rather old-style bathroom and flooring. During our stay, we experienced one major shortage; lack of air conditioning - when temperature averages 30-35 degrees, the nights indeed too hot. Otherwise, this is definetly a place to recommend!

I ’ve never written a review that i actually don’t want to write but the owners of this place deserve one, I just wanted to keep it a secret. John & Tina are the perfect hosts and their property is absolutely delightful. Tranquille being the perfect description, positioned within easy walking distance of the main area of LaRoque but in a beautiful quiet spot with views of the surrounding walnut trees, asparagus fields and the Dordogne. The property itself is furnished in quality French furnishings and is scrupulously clean. Nothing is too much trouble for your hosts who made me feel so welcome. If you’re lucky enough to experience Tina’s cooking then you’re in for a real treat! A unforgettable place to stay, in a wonderful area with beautiful people. I just can’t wait to go back.
