Weston's highest rated hotel, the Commodore, is set in sand bay, only a stones throw from the beach. Ideally situated on the beautiful coastline overlooking the estuary towards the Welsh coast with local woodland walks nearby. All bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with the majority offering sea views. All rooms have private facilities, hospitality tray, radio, colour TVs, direct dial telephone and complimentary WiFi. The Commodore Lounge Bar and Carvery Restaurant offer a variety of home cooked dishes and daily specials including 2 for 1 main meals and combines a friendly and efficient service with a warm hospitable welcome.
Came here yesterday and had the same. -can’t get enough of this place. New owners are setting their stall out well and we will defo be returning once lockdown permits - their lunches and hospitality are a magnet. I don’t think this place gets anywhere near enough publicity and is a local treasure close to the sand dunes and a quiet beach with lovely nearby woodland walk. Ample parking to boot!

Booked room via booking.com confirmed done. Then get message saying suddenly it's not available? Suspicious I checked their direct website and as 7 other rooms still listed was just a double for 1 night. Their response AHH yes we do have rooms yes you can have a room but it isn't 108 like you booked and was confirmed it's 170-180 they are all double rooms.. So you may think you have a booking contract but only if they fancy honouring it and they can't get more from somewhere else or direct. Very dodgy indeed what YouTube video taught these people how to run a B&B. Some clue on these reviews the owners are iffy, this is another example

Myself and my GF booked a super cheap (£35 p/p) stay here for 1 night - stay included evening meal and breakfast plus a chalet with a double bed. Our chalet had a doubled bed, a small chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables in the main room. There was a small wall mounted TV with remote and a kettle and tea/coffee (no milk). 4 pillows and a quilt provided on bed alongside 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels and 2 soaps. Small (approx 1m) space to the back of the chalet which had a wardrobe and the entry to the bathroom. Bathroom quite large - contained a bath, toilet, sink, mirror and towel rail and 2 plastic wrapped disposable water glasses. Positives: - staff friendly and helpful - grounds well maintained - chalet clean, comfortable and fine for a short stay - bathroom water very hot, plug in both bath and tap working, toilet flushed without problems - good location - just a few mins walk from the beach - no problem getting seats for the entertainment or in the dining room - benches and tables outside everywhere so you could sit and enjoy the sun - food - mix of options to suit most people - its cheap but plenty of it which is I think what their usual visitors expect - bar - drinks reasonable for the location Negatives - pool - closed - pool table - damaged - crazy/mini-golf - closed - games room - 2 snooker tables and 2 table tennis tables - all in disrepair and room falling apart - wifi - didnt work - phone signal - poor (on both three and O2 - believe it was the area) - in-room tv - remote didnt work - channel options seemed to be bbc 3 and a million sex/adult channels! - pillows in room really old and flat with weird lumps - had to fold them in half to make them comfortable - plastic mattress - the mattress itself wouldnt have been an issue but they use flat sheets which slide off it - fitted sheets or under bed sheet clips to keep the sheets in place would have helped! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again despite the cons listed as they arent massive negatives for us and we were really just using it as a base for weston
