Good Place To Stay for Solo or Family Travel
Reviewed By SumanTalukdarThe location is convenient and there is decent parking space available within the premises. So if you are travelling with your vehicle, parking is not going to be of a concern here. The room in which I stayed was quite spacious (>200 sq ft). It could have had a small refrigerator but that absence is manageable. The food is tasty but they use too much oil and spices. Even after your request it doesn't change much. The service is decent and so is the cleanliness. It also has a Spa which might not be something out of this world but nonetheless good enough. The washroom was clean. Laundry service is available but takes 2 days to get your clothes back. At the price- the hotel is a good choice for mid budget travellers. I would recommend this strongly.

Reviewed By SujataroamerFood is good and not too expensive. Good ambience. Tasty starters. I think they have a pub but we didn't go so I have no idea. They have their own banquets for small functions accommodating up-to 200 guests. Little isolated place. Better go by our own vehicle.

A good option for Group Picnics, Camping at a Beautiful Location
Reviewed By Arun BThis was my second visit in last 2 months to Dongre's Farm. At both the times I traveled with the group consisting of more than 15 people. All of us were extremely delighted with the Farm Resort and Location... Location ========= Located just 100 mtrs from the main national highway (Kalyan - Ahmednagar) and near to Pimpalgaon Joga Dam is the beautiful and a scenic location. Across the road you can view the Sahyadri Mountain Ranges and the other side you can experience the closeness to the water body reservoir of the dam. Beyond the water body you have again a lovely picturesque view of few villages and beyond that standing tall the huge mountains again. The advantage is you are so close to many historic places like Shivneri Fort, Harsichandra Gad and well known temples like Ozar and Lenyadri (both popular as Shree Ashta Vinayak Stahns). Ensure to carry all the necessary things you may need as you may not find anything nearby which you need to buy. if you to buy anything then you may have to drive 8 to kms either side to fetch those necessities and nothing is sure about get it. The Farm / Resort ================= Originally it's a farm converted into Basic Resort. But you have good facilities like a small pool with rain dance deck, a netted cricket turf and a place for fire camping. You can play some indoor games like carom, chess and playing cards. The approach road is very narrow & uneven and you need to be careful while driving the car from main road to the resort gate. The ample parking place is available once you reach the resort. Rooms ====== Rooms are very basic and few of them are dormitory type. But, I must admit that at both the times I visited I found them clean and without any odor. The bed sheets and covers were clean. But, I always suggest - it's better to carry your own bed cover to cover yourself. Toilets were again very basic but clean. Food and People ================ The package most of the times consist of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and served at a common hall opposite the stay rooms. The food was good just like home made food and people at service were always helpful and tried to complete your requests / demands whichever possible. Overall, it was the nice experience with the beautiful atmosphere and climate at Dongre's Farm
