Reviewed By Erik1964This hotel is not the place to be if you don't bring a car. But then, if you bring one, I would highly recommend Hotel Zur Linde for it is a very charming place. I stayed here as a business traveller for two consecutive nights. It is situated in a peaceful part of Freital, The hotel rooms are decent and fully equipped. The breakfast buffet is very nice too, and you won't be hungry for most of the day afterwards. You will find free parking space across the hotel on the other side of the quiet road. Rates are very modest, so altogether you really get value for money here. I will visit this hotel definitely again next time that I am in the Dresden area.

Very good restaurant beside the hotel
Reviewed By Joerg PSearching for a nice dinner on a Saturday we passed by this hotel and saw the associated restaurant with a huge garden area. It was quite packed due to a MG owner meeting on this evening, accompanied by a live band. The outside area is ideal for kids with a small playground (visible from all the tables). We got a table outside and ordered drinks and food. The waitress told us that due to the meeting, the waiting time for the food could be up to 45min, but kids meals are served faster. We agreed and enjoyed the drinks and the band while our daughter played with other kids on the playground. The food came much faster than expected. Solid Saxonian food in large but not huge portions (can recommend the pork head aspic!). All in all a hidden gem for a nice summer evening with good food and excellent service. The restaurant also have a large and nice inside area, but in this hot summer it was empty.
