Friendly hotel with great views and excellent food
Reviewed By Steve HWe stayed for a Saturday and Sunday in November whilst conducting some family business. Our room was spacious and well appointed with a wonderful view over the Danube. The food was outstanding. An excellent choice of local meat and fish with a good selection of wines. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and we had excellent support and advice on the best wine to have with a superbly cooked and presented meal. Price was very good and quality was high. The hotel is on a hill which is quite steep so if yo have mobility issues that might be something to think about. Parking also has to work around the slope so again something to think about. These are minor points compared with the overall quality of location, staff and food. Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Karl-Heinz RGuter Service und gute Küche. Nette Besitzer. Wir waren zu 6 mit den Fahrräden (Garage vorhanden) unterwegs und wurden sehr gut versorgt. Beim Abendessen waren alle mit ihren gewählten Gerichten zufrieden. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Bad communication and service
Reviewed By U5648GCkimmWe booked a room for last weekend, 2 nights for €155. Wenn we arrived they found out they had placed the booking at the wrong data, but luckily there still was a room available, so we got that one. Ofcourse no problem, but the next day we found out we had to pay €156,- per night instead of 2 nights! There was no room for discussion. And I think it is really weird that we have to pay double the price, wenn they made a mistake in their booking system.. We paid it, luckily we could leave after one night. But never again. Not costumer friendly at all. The place of this Schloss was very nice, but the room was full of mosquitoes. Normally I would give this hotel a 6,5, but taking the costumer service in account it was a really, really bad experience.
