Culebra is somewhat of the anti-tourist destination, harboring no large hotels or flashy vacation bells and whistles. The beaches are stunning stretches of white sand, great for sunning, windsurfing and diving. The culture and architecture are just as colorful as the waters of the bright blue sea. Stroll around downtown for a truly quaint afternoon activity.

El Navegante de Culebra is located on the amazing east coast of Puerto Rico, in the island of Culebra. We are situated in the town of Dewey, the main town of the island. Our lodge consists of eight rooms and most of them provide a spectacular view of the Ensenada Honda Bay, sailboats and an unforgettable sunrise. If you are looking for a modern, nice and clean place to stay in Culebra it's here!
Great restaurant! It overlooks Ensenada Bay, the breeze was wonderful. The food was delish, I really enjoyed the churrasco, rice and beans, and the veggies were outstanding! Staff was friendly and took good care of us. Parking was a little tricky on the dead end street.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Dewey (Culebra's only town), the main ferry dock is only 3 minutes away (walking distance), the airport and Flamenco Beach are about 15 minutes in a public ride ($2.00 per person), restaurants, grocery stores and the bakery are all within 5 minutes (walking distance).
I was suppose to stay on January/1/2019 at La posada and suffer a verbal and almost Physical attack by my ex partner and the girl at the lobby, Marcela didn’t call the police or stop the situation by protecting me as a paying guest at the hotel. She also lie to the police about the event but I still got the order of protection against my ex. I would like to see the cameras of nye to prove this at court. The attack was between 6pm-8pm. Please feel free to contact me and I hope you punish this employee for her irresponsible behavior.

Mamacitas is a guest house, restaurant, bar and gift shop located on the Island of Culebra in the Carribean. If you're looking for a great place to eat, stay, or just meet others, Mamacitas is a must for your list of places to visit.
I stayed in room 202. It had 3 nice windows, was very clean and cozy with a couch, fan, microwave and fridge. I love the bright colors of the hotel and surrounding buildings. The location is perfect for walking in town or even to the airport if you don’t have much to carry. I wish there had been a coffee maker, but all in all was a great stay. I especially enjoyed reading on the shared balcony overlooking the canal.

Ruth runs this small guest house in which 3 colorfull cottages are offered. They are clean, comfortable and well located. The rooms offered what we needed for our 3 disconnection nights stay in culebra: the bed was comfortable, there was no A/C but there was a very nice ceiling fan, and a small kitchen. Concerning the owner, Ruth, I have never been hosted by someone so caring of your needs. She offered good advice on the nicest beaches to go, where to eat good and for a good price, more than once she called herself to car rental shops, water taxi companies, etc, to help us get good oportunities. She has parking space in between the cottages, although it can get crowded, specially considering that some people rent big Jeeps. To all these bad reviews that I see here... You have to be realistic. Culebra is not an island where you go to an all included spa monster-building, five stars hotel. The island is small, disconnected and relaxed. If you want wifi, a/c or TV, you are not the person who will (know how to) enjoy Culebra island.
