A lovely, true Tuscan experience
Reviewed By Wings24We had the most welcome stay at I Grandi, a rustic winery estate in Val di Chiana. Elisabetta and the staff is helpful with whatever you may ask for. It is family-owned and offers in my opinion an authentic Italian/Tuscan experience. The enormous, romantic garden are well kept and includes a small golf and tennis court as well as a pool area. Two separate buildings with apartments are of older age, but refurbished in recent years. However, do not expect a plush five star luxury accommodation. Some fixing of parts of the interior might be due, but still it has its own charm. In-house made breakfast is offered in the cellar with a terrace and views towards the wine ranks. Location-wise, I Grandi is perfect for exploring Tuscany. Within a one-hour drive or so you'll have magnificent views, charming villages and beautiful scenery. During our one-week stay there were both couples and families with children, but still very quiet throughout the day and night. Reception is manned by Elisabetta during the day, while at night you're on your own (and that's adding to that authentic feeling of being in the middle of the countryside).

Reviewed By vale88Siamo stati a luglio a tenute Il Giano con tutta la famiglia e il cane che qui è il benvenuto, siamo stati benissimo. La casa è molto bella, pulita e accogliente. Grande giardino e super piscina. Ideale per una vacanza di coppia o con i bambini e tutta l famiglia. Da qui abbiamo raggiunto in pochissimo tempo il borgo di Civitella con una vista spettacolare sulla valle. Caldamente consigliato il soggiorno a Il Giano, gli host sono molto gentili e disponibili. Torneremo!

Casa Galina is a wonderful holiday home situated in the surroundings of a little village called Ciggiano, in the Italian province of Arezzo. Recently, it has been completely renovated; at the first floor, it offers two apartments, whereas the ground floor is uninhabited and unused. The house offers also a beautiful swimming pool and a marvellous garden, where you can find a large table and a sun awning shielding from the sunshine. So the house could be the ideal solution for two families who want to spend holidays together, but who are looking for some independence and freedom at the same time. Pets are warmly welcome, we are pet-friendly.
