My husband and I were in desperate need of a quick break away and we stumbled upon Arniston Hotel. We are really impressed by the effort the staff put in. You can see the pride in what they are doing. Well done to the phenomenal people who give this hotel character. I have such great things to say about the little details that impressed us, for example: 1. Turn down service with: i) chocolates on the pillows; ii) the weather & tidal forecast for the next day; iii) an extra blanket on the bed. 2. Fresh milk in the fridge for your coffee in the morning. 3. Sherry in the rooms for guests to enjoy. 4. Charlotte Rhys toiletries ?? 5. The way the napkins are folded at the dinner table. Plus the delicious warm bread! 6. Most importantly, a shout out to Alphonso, Jenny, Jason & Henry - you are all superstars! Thank you for making our trip incredible. Lastly, I would like to acknowledge the general community in Arniston. I know the public is not part of the hotel, but the warmth of the people adds such value to the establishment. We hope to be back soon.

A charming 6 roomed Guest House with a fantastic breakfast, warm welcome and an unforgettable experience. Each bedroom has a bathroom en suite. Extra length queen size bed, with down duvet inners. The white sandy beaches are warmed by the Indian Ocean and is approx 450 m from the house. Arniston/Waenhuiskrans is home to the characteristic white-washed, thatch roofed cottages, no visit to Arniston / Waenhuiskrans is complete without visiting the historical village. We have a small bistro style restaurant in the guest house, open for dinner. and a well stocked bar.
Went to Arniston on the spur of the moment without booking accommodation. Lucky enough to find the Blue Sky guesthouse. Beautiful and very comfortable rooms and top notch facilities. Add friendly and caring hosts Jill and Adrian makes this a real winner. One of the highlights if our trip.

The Dunes at Arniston is the perfect base for beach-friendly romantic getaways, family holidays and business breakaways. We are conveniently situated immediately before Arniston historic seaside village in the Overberg amid fynbos-rich landscape and sandy dunes. At your home-away-from-home escape, we provide comfortable accommodation and top facilities for private guests, weddings, special occasions and business functions. Our friendly staff is on hand and eager to make your stay with us as memorable as possible. Every year, visitors from all over the globe flock to these parts to see the southernmost tip of Africa where the two oceans meet at Cape Agulhus. Still, while it is a popular holiday destination, Arniston and surrounds has retained the legendary natural beauty and tranquil crowd-less charm for which it is well known.
We stayed over at The Dunes and received a warm welcome by the friendly reception staff. We were shown the dining area as well as the pool area as i wanted to know where to swim. We stayed over in the standard rooms, please note these don't have a kitchenette, however the rooms has a wash up basin. However the rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. The nights we stayed over was a bit cold and the rooms had no air-conditioner or heaters, maybe they can include these on the cold nights. The breakfast was excellent and the dinners was impressively delightful. Many thanks to Mercia and Mary for making us feel extra welcome.

The house was clean and well situated, there are however a couple of maintenance issues that need to be addressed with window frames that are damaged resulting in some windows not been able to open or very difficult to open and close, also the toilet door key broke off in the door of one the toilettes and we had to remove the entire door and then remove the lock and re-hang the door.
