Reviewed By Marietta111100We have been visiting Areti hotel for the last few years and we absolutely love it! Mary and her family who are running the hotel go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The swimming pool is great and excellent for the kids and adults alike!! The view of Souda bay is wonderful. It’s definitely a safe haven to escape the stress and anxiety of every day life.

Best Vacations ever
Reviewed By andrivassiliouEleven people we have been at Aptera Paradise for our summer holidays. It was an amazing experience since Costas and Mrs. Vaso, the owners, are excellent hosts and they provided us the best they could. New and big apartments, clean rooms, nice furniture and clean pool, at a friendly price. Wonderful experience which led to the best holidays ever. We will be back for every time we are going to visit Crete. Thank you a lot!

Aptera hotel is located at Aptera (former Megala Chorafia) just outside of Chania town. The hotel offers three types of accommodation, studios, one and two bedroom self catering apartments. Reception and a small cafe are located on the ground floor.
Immaculate rooms and great value
Reviewed By drummond1975My husband and I spent 7 nights this summer at Aptera Hotel. The rooms are spotless and we had 2 balconies - one with a view of Souda Bay and the other looking over the valley to the White Mountains. The host could not be more helpful with local information and insights into Cretan culture. Aptera itself is a great base to explore Western Crete and close to lovely beaches in Kalives. The Hotel is a 10-mins walk (spectacular views on the way!) to the village centre where there is a shop and tavernas.

Reviewed By sotgaΥπάρχουν δύο μεγάλα διαμερίσματα με πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα και πλυντήριο για τα ρούχα. Ιδανικό για διαμονή πολλών ημερών και για οικογένειες. Το κάθε διαμέρισμα έχει ένα μεγάλο σαλόνι-τραπεζαρία-κουζίνα, ένα μεγάλο μπάνιο και δύο υπνοδωμάτια. Κοιμούνται άνετα 5-6 άτομα καθώς έχει και καναπέ-κρεβάτι. Η εξωτερική πισίνα είναι ένα ιδανικό μέρος για χαλάρωση το βραδάκι μετά το μπάνιο και την εξερεύνηση της Κρήτης ενώ προσφέρεται και για μια μονοήμερη χαλάρωση αν κάποιος το επιθυμεί. Υπάρχουν ξαπλώστρες και ομπρέλες. Το κατάλυμα είναι ιδανικό για παρέα με δύο οικογένειες καθώς μπορούν να έχουν αποκλειστικότητα την πισίνα. Υπάρχει και χώρος parking για δύο αυτοκίνητα αλλά και στο δρόμο υπάρχει χώρος. Η Άννα η οικοδέσποινα πολύ φιλική και εξυπηρετική. Φροντίζει για την τακτική καθαριότητα των διαμερισμάτων. Η θέση είναι πολύ βολική: δίπλα στην Εθνική οδό με πρόσβαση στα Χανιά σε 20 λεπτά και στη σούδα για καφέ ή πρωινό σε 10 λεπτά. Οι παραλία της Γεωργιούπολης στο Ρέθυμνο είναι επίσης πολύ κοντά. Ιδανικό σημείο για εξερεύνηση των δύο Νομών (Χανίων και Ρεθύμνου). Η περιοχή έχει αρχαιολογικό χώρο (Άπτερα στα δύο χιλιόμετρα) και κάστρο με θέα στον κόλπο της Σούδας. Το ηλιοβασίλεμα από εκεί είναι υπέροχο. Στα 500 μέτρα υπάρχει mini market με όλα τα βασικά εφόδια. Στα 300 μέτρα υπάρχουν 4 ταβέρνες με Κρητικούς μεζέδες και ψητά της ώρας. Πολύ όμορφη βόλτα το βράδυ για φαγητό ή ρακί αν δεν θέλει κανείς να πάει πιο μακριά. Η θέα στα βουνά είναι επίσης όμορφη. Αξίζει σίγουρα η διαμονή εκεί!!

Amazing Maisonettes
Reviewed By mikepK3900HYMy wife and I stayed here in Aptera for two weeks in early May, 2019. We absolutely loved this place! It is like having your own lovely home in Crete with you. Comes with everything you need and much more. Chrysi and her parents were very gracious hosts. Chrysi provided lots of information on places to visit. She even found an expresso machine for us to use as we both love our coffee! We feel so fortunate to have chosen this lovely accomodation and highly recommend it to all! Thanks again Chrysi!
