El Paraiso Golf Club

Designed in 1973 by Gary Player, El Paraiso is one of the most established courses on the Costa del Sol. Set out in the peaceful El Paraiso valley with the backdrop of the majestic 'La Concha' mountain to the north and the sparkling Mediterranean to the south, El Paraiso has the envious reputation of not only providing one of the best championship course layouts on the coast, which draws players back time and time again, but also being the friendliest international club too. New members, golf societies and visitors are welcome.

We have played El Paraiso at the end of our 9 day golf vacation and, to our taste, this is among the best golf courses in Marbella region. Very nice design by Gary Player (with a divers landscape and different elevations for some holes), excellent condition of the course, very nice personnel at the ProShop, a cozy atmosphere - all to make you enjoy the golf on a beautiful day. For medium level golfers like us, the super-speedy greens (level 11 at El Paraido) was a real challenge but it seems this is the rule of Spanish greens (at least in Marbella). All in all, a golf course not to be missed whrn in Marbella.

Played both courses multiple times and love the overall quality and ambiance of this Club. Two good courses although only the Old course is open during the Covid. You can easily walk the Old Course which i always prefer to buggies. Good value for money
