My 5 1/2 year old loves legos! We live in Cincinnati and stopped at the Michigan Welcome Center on our way Up North where my son spotted the bright yellow Legoland pamphlet from across the room (great marketing). We made a slight detour to Auburn Hills on our way home to visit Legoland and it was worth every penny, what a great place! I researched it online and saw that I could save $5 a ticket buying online and picking our (1/2 hr.) arrival time so we pulled in the parking lot and ordered tickets on their website with my phone. He LOVED it! It wasn't packed and it was very well organized. They have 3 different short 4D movies showing (my favorite) along with the huge "Detroit" themed Lego city. The price and value are great, we could have easily spent 5 hours playing and building but 3 hours was enough to get it all in and break up our long drive. It was right off of the highway so it was easy to find too. They had activities for toddlers with a playhouse/slide, big foam blocks, huge climbing zone (all ages) and a section for girls too! Well done Legoland! #everythingisawesome!

Topgolf features fun and competitive golf games, climate-controlled hitting bays for year-round comfort, a chef-inspired food and drink menu, private spaces for groups of any size, HDTVs to watch the big game and amazing music. There's no fee to come in and enjoy our restaurant, bar & rooftop terrace. For the game, each player pays a one-time fee of $5 and bay costs starting at $25/hr.
This large, modern complex is located – approximately – three long tee shots from Great Lakes Crossing Outlets. Here, visitors have to check in at counters near the entrance to the range…a similar procedure to a hotel. There are three levels of covered, climate-controlled hitting bays. Comfortable seating and a table with a marble top were found directly behind the bay that was utilized during this visit. Drinks were refilled expeditiously and food items were received in a sufficient amount of time…and served with cloth napkins. Golf balls are not rented by the bucket, but are dispensed – one at a time – via a machine near each mat. An hourly rate is charged for the amount of time spent at the hitting bays. Large, round-shaped range targets are outdoors. In lieu of traditional yardage signs with numbers, colored [target] flags are found in the center of the range targets. Different games are available, with information displayed on the screens found at each bay. Several games have accumulating points as activity progresses. Other games display the yardages of golf shots, but only when balls reach the round range targets. Two Jumbotron-like screens – located at the terminus of the driving range – make visiting here a grand experience. This is a great place to practice during the winter months and a fine alternative if one is unable to play a round during the regular golf season. Unquestionably, this is one of the most unique driving ranges in Michigan and a must visit for avid golfers.

Peppa Pig World of Play Michigan is an indoor play attraction designed specifically for children ages 8 years and younger. With 14 themed play areas lovingly created from the popular Peppa Pig animated series, children will be surrounded by their favorite characters and familiar scenes from the show. Take a ride in the family car, visit Peppa's family home, play in George's fort or climb in Peppa's tree house; with so many fun places to play, your children are sure to enjoy their visit!
We took out 1.5 and 3 year olds there, they absolutely loved running around and touching everything. I have to say it was super cute! My boys spent most of the time running around in the play areas, than climbing into the forts to ride the slides. They loved playing in Peppa’s house, playing with the packages in the delivery truck, and riding tricycles / bicycles. We have been back twice within the month because they enjoyed it so much. Every time we went right when it opened so it wasn’t busy yet, but I imagine a weekend afternoon is packed. Two adults and 2 kids was a bit pricey, but we have since bought a punch card which resulted in some cost savings. Since we live close by we intent to purchase an annual pass to make it a new monthly activity for the kids.
