Ugly Duckling Wines

A charming, rustic cottage overlooking the vines is home to our small boutique vineyard and cellar door. Premium wines, all locally grown and crafted, coupled with old-fashioned service and a friendly smile is what you’ll find at our popular spot that welcomes dogs in the outdoor dining area. Enjoy a delicious platter of wine-friendly fare, or choose from the range of gourmet pies (some made with Ugly Duckling wines), while you relax and soak up the fantastic views across the Swan Valley to the Perth hills. Guests charmed by the food and wine can grab a souvenir including Ugly Duckling Wines cheese boards and glasses, olives, and wine produced from the vineyard. We also have live music here every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Part of wine tour and a surprising little winery with a nice selection of wines. Beautiful grounds and stunning views of the hills. Support a local wine producer and go and sample their wines. I'd recommend their Bubbly Duck a perfect summer wine.

Wonderful family-owned honey farmer. Please support these really hardworking and passionate owners. Full of enthusiasm and the honey is brilliant. Affordable but very high quality produce. I hope the next generation of this farm will take it to the next level in the modern soceity. Manuka step aside. :)

Lancaster Wines

Reviewed By pmads - Manchester, United Kingdom

Hired bikes from Guildford visitors center and cycled to a few of the well known wineries in the Swan Valley. Last stop was Lancaster Winerie where we were treated to good wine, nice cheese and friendly service from the owner, who shared his wine growing stories with us. We will remember the wine because of the experience we had in the shed. If you want 5 star silver service go to a fancy restaurant. We got exactly what we needed after a day in the saddle and we wished we had stayed longer. Ask where the name of the cellar comes from and the owner is quick to tell you "it's a long story mate, but I'll give you the short version. My last names Lancaster" the conversation and atmosphere were great and the owner even offered to get us a lift back to Guildford and arrange for the bikes to be collected. Memorable experience thank you.
