Not all info centres in New Zealand are as good as the one in Tairua. It has a very good selection of souvenirs of all types and I would recommend stopping here if you need a souvenir for yourself or something to take back home for others.

It's worth climbing up the steep path to the top of Mount Paku, as the 360 degrees view from the top is wonderful.

Visit The Little Gallery, where discerning art enthusiasts can enjoy and purchase affordable, quality artwork by leading local artists. This diverse, intimate gallery prides itself on offering 'a little of the best,' representing over 50 artists from the Coromandel and around New Zealand. The space is a must-see cultural destination for tourists, offering a snapshot of the local arts culture.
I love this gallery as its a place to discover lots of local art practitioners and see a good variety of different styles and approaches to art making. Its really a gem of Coromandel culture and well worth dropping in to see if anything appeals and to discover new artists

There are so many top beaches on the coast of New Zealand and this one is up with the best. A bit off the beaten track but that is part of its attraction as hardly anyone goes there. A very beautiful beach with lovely soft sand and clear waters.

This is one of the best crystal shops I've found in New Zealand so far. Their range of crystals are amazing! They have any and every crystal you can think of. Although a little expensive, I wouldn't say it's overpriced as many other crystal shops I have found were the same if not more expensive. The staff is helpful and very friendly. I bought 5 beautiful crystals for $20.
