Prosecco Hills are located at the bottom of veneto's prealps, marvellous place for trekking, bike, wine (prosecco) and food experiences, full of historic inheritance of first world war (Plavis Battle).
We toured on our own, since I was to organize a trip for 6 friends to travel the Strada del Prosecco. This was a fact finding mission and we went to visit all major places for wine tasting and came to Refrontolo, Soligo, Follo, San Stefano, San Pietro di Barbozza, Valdobbiadene and further on the Old Prosecco Street to Gua, Combai, Miane, Follina..etc.etc. The beautiful rolling hills and especially in the Cartizze area with the vineyards and wineries are spectacular. Can' t wait for the next time in September.

A thousand years of emotions, art, history and nature since 1245. San Salvatore Castle is one of the most extensive late medieval complexes in Europe, where you can still breathe the scent of the centuries. It is a very exclusive private home that opens for special events both private and corporate. Extraordinary openings for visits or experiences on reservation.

The historic walls of the 1904 cellar now enclose the state-of-the-art equipment of the Conte Collalto wine cellar. The winery processes only its own estate-grown grapes, producing about 850,000 bottles per year, more than half of which are Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The various styles of Prosecco are complemented by a portfolio of wines from international grapes, such as Chardonnay, Pinot, Merlot, and Cabernet, as well as from indigenous varieties, including a red wine from the exceptional and exclusive Wildbacher and the white Verdiso. The estate’s impressive line is crowned by the Incrocio Manzoni cross breeds (among which is the remarkably distinctive Manzoni Moscato Sparkling Rosé) and the red cuvées, as the many awards winner Vinciguerra I, all classic expressions of absolute quality and of local wine-growing traditions.
