It is located with San Jose to its south and Fremont to its north, at the eastern end of State Route 237 and generally between Interstates 680 and 880 which run roughly north/south through the city. With Alameda County bordering directly on the north, Milpitas sits in the extreme northeast section of the South Bay, bordering the East Bay and Fremont. Milpitas is also located within the Silicon Valley. The corporate headquarters of Maxtor, LSI Corporation, Adaptec, Intersil, FireEye, Viavi and Lumentum (formerly JDSU), KLA-Tencor, SanDisk, and View, Inc. sit within the industrial zones of Milpitas. We went to this very nice neighborhood park. There is the nice adobe building. There are places for individual and group picnics. We enjoyed a walk in the park. Although closed off right now due to covid, there is a nice playground for chidlren, There is nice cactuses, nice views of the hills, and a big grassy area.

A very nice place to spend part of your day. There's plenty to see, and a food court that can definitely get you refueled when you start getting close to 'E'. If you're open to using public transportation, you're covered there. A bus or the light rail can get you there. If you like to shop, they've got you covered. If you like to people watch, you won't be disappointed. The name of the facility is apropos.
