I was looking for things to see in the area, while on a day trip and I just love waterfalls. So when I saw there was a waterfalls we just had to stop and visit before making our way home. Little did we know at the time there was a long way and a short way to the falls, Lol. So we made the big hike right after lunch and just before sunset. Needless to say we burned off a few calories by the time we reached the falls. Just as we arrived at the falls, the park rangers asked if we made the hike because the park closed at dusk in about 45 minutes. We had no idea that there was a parking lot right next to the falls. So rule of thumb make sure if you are up for the hike, bring good walking shoes, a bottle of water, a use the facilities before you start out on your journey. Or if not have your GPS bring you to the closer parking lot. Lol

If you are looking for something new and different- look no further! Middletown has a great speakeasy spot with amazing energy, great service and creative dishes. I've never had vegan Chicharones until I met this place! Amazing-their mac and cheese was made vegetarian for me and there are may options for vegans, this is greatly appreciated and thoughtful of them to include all folks dinning. The place is really shabby chic and real easy to be hang out a while trying creative drinks. The chefs are very kind and can make many things to order. The entire staff was attentive and friendly! At about 9 pm a great live jazz band came in and the vibe just continued with excellent music. It is so hard to find spots like this where you can just listen to music, spend some time unwinding and have great service and food. Make a reservation! Bar is pretty packed, and seating isn't much, so reservations are needed. The front door is little hidden but the name is on it, next to the market and typhoon place. Street parking or public lot behind it- can be reached by crossing the market.
