Wonderful beach in a protected bay, clear water but not much shade unless you take your own parasol. You will find latchi water spots here too.

This is where Aphrodite - The Goddess of Love appeared from the sea and it is a picturesque and well visited place with a small store with icecream etc and you actually walk through a tunnel under the road to get there. It is considered very fortune to swim around the rock 3 times so bring your swim wear and camera.

The beach is lovely... crystal clear warm waters, great for swimming, paddling or just cooling your feet. We were there October/November and the weather was in the mid 20s so still warm enough for us to go swimming. It was very quiet, not many people at all. There are a some good shower and changing cubicles dotted along the beach, and one or two restaurants and bars. In one direction is Latchi centre and in the other direction you can walk all the way to Polis, this takes about 15 minutes to reach the campsite at Polis and then another 10 minutes into Polis centre.

I got the bus from Polis to visit this lovely place. You have the option of walking along the well maintained path directly to the baths (a natural pool fed by a waterfall) or diverting to the left immediately after the entrance and walking around the circular nature trail which I found to be well worthwhile (good shoes required). The baths are great cool oasis on a hot day and there are well maintained paths and steps leading to them. When I visited it was free to enter. I f you feel farly energetic, you can take the nature trail walk back rather than turning back to the entrance. Oh and there ae coffee and delicous ice cream kiosks before the entrance. I finished my visit off with a visit to the beach (down some steps behind Aphrodite's hotel taverna just down the road) for a refreshing dip followed by a nice inexpensive liunch at the taverna overlooking the beatiful sea.
