Been going to dengates farm stall for many years now .David has a good choice of tree as he grows them himself. All sizes at a good price would recommend as you can't get fresher you pick it they cut it then or reserve it for later.

The Rye Waterworks is the first Micropub to open in South East Sussex. It is situated in a building steeped with history originally a water pump house for 300 years then a soup kitchen dating from the 1890s that's now been opened up as a feature within the micropub. A family business serving eight local ales and twelve local ciders along with a selection of wines, local gins, local vodka & local soft drinks. We're listed with CAMRA (campaign for real ale) and welcome families, dogs & people just wanting to have a nose around.
A fantastic micro pub in Rye, we’re always made to feel very welcome and you can see David is working very hard to make sure we have a good time even with the restrictions in place at the moment. Well worth a visit!

Bought as a gift for my birthday, my husband and I attended this wonderful whole day, sustainable fish cooking lesson at Paul Webbe’s Fish Cafe in the lovely town of Rye. Taught by Paul himself we learned to shell and dress a whole crab, prepare and fillet a variety of fish including grey and red mullet, sole, monkfish, mackerel, gurnard and huss plus make an incredibly delicious bouillabaisse from scratch, blackberry ice cream to have with pear tatin and wash it all down with some lovely wine and hand made bread. I wasn’t particularly confident preparing and cooking fish before the course, but I am now! This was a wonderfully hands on day with just 6 of us plus Paul prepping, cooking and eating and Paul made sure everyone got involved and we all helped each other out, it was a really lovely group of people. The cooking tips for the fish but also the sauces, bread and dessert were excellent and I learned a lot. I feel this is incredibly good value, especially considering the top quality fish we prepared and ate and so I can recommend highly!
