It is the largest and most populated island of the West Frisian Islands in the Wadden Sea. This was so much fun! My partner and I love animals and even though we were the only ones there without kids, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves- one on one with all the animals was a fantastic way to spend a morning!

Once in Texel it should be definitely in agenda as a typical activity of this island. Very nice atmosphere close to the nature, good choice of cheeses and an interesting and informative introduction into the process of cheese production. This can be directly observed through the glass windows. One can also watch the video narrating of all the details. In the shop it’s possible to try various sorts of cheese produced at the farm, and some cosmetic products.
