Jackson Hole Still Works is Jackson Hole's first and only legal distillery. Utilizing some of the finest water in the world flowing from the summits of the Teton Mountain Range, Jackson Hole Still Works' spirits are true grain to glass, hand crafted, artisan products born from local and regional ingredients. Our award-winning spirits are sure to inspire...drop by for a tour and a tasting!
We recently were given a wonderful, informative tour (with samples!) at the JHSW and LOVED it. Travis and Chas took so much time to explain their history and the process of making their superb gin and vodka. We are looking forward to being able to buy these delicious liquors in NC. The Highwater Vodka was competitive with my personal favorite, Reyka (from Iceland), and their Great Grey Gin is fascinating and I would choose it over my current love, Plymouth (from England), given the chance. Give them a try!

How many times in life do you get once in a lifetime experiences? We had one today. Stopped at Cowboy Country Distillery in Pinedale, WY. Being a holiday weekend the Master Distiller let everyone else have the weekend off, so we had the distinct pleasure of the Master himself (Tim Trites) for tastings and a tour. Some of our good fortune must remain a secret, but, best distillery tour ever, and some superb quality distilled spirits. Absolutely love his outlook, who the company donates to (veterans, local causes) and that he does as much business as possible with Wyoming people and companies. These guys have our support for sure! For the spirits, they are world class. To the level that they are exporting rum to a country that makes rum! Try some, any variety: whiskey, rum Gin, vodka, jalapeño bacon vodka (awesome in bloody marys or with pineapple juice), raspberry cordial for a unique and fabulous mimosa, and last but not least, maple syrup that has been aged in distilling barrels. Tim is meticulous, and truly a master of the craft. Try anything he makes, it’s excellent.

This is a nice family run distillery. They open at 3:00 p.m. so don't try to show up during the day. They offer drink specials, games and even a tour of the distillery. We always try to stop in when we are in Sheridan.
