Excellent.
Reviewed By 946macmI stayed at The Gates for 6 weeks during May & June 2019. The staff were absolutely brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Issac the Chef, Moses the General Manager, Kingdom the Food & Beverage Manager, all the Bar staff and the Reception staff did everything possible to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend The Gates. I will definitely be returning. Thank you all.

Reviewed By 930princessnhad a dinner organized with my friends and the meals were superb, their apartments are tastefully furnished,free internet services and a fully equipped gym. more so their swimming pool is one of the biggest in Enugu. My friends and I had a wonderful experience.

Quality beats price
Reviewed By Chijioke OLovely hotel, I never expected such quality from the location. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are responsive. I enjoyed my stay. The food could be improved on but it was satisfying. And oh! the view! It brings that green scenery that you want to take home with you.

A Disaster
Reviewed By retiredvaingirlPlease do not stay here, i stayed in the most expensive room ( executive suite)they had which was relatively affordable by my standards in all fairness 1. The wash hand basin had no running water, i had to brush with a broken disgusting bowl from the water coming from the tap in the bath tub 2. The shower curtain was so short that there was no point in it being there so obviously the floor got wet 3. The towel provided was brown and needed a permanent replacement 4. The chef/ cook needed intensive training on how to avoid salty food. The eggs was salty and a disaster, i don't know where to start. The goat meat pepper soup was too salty 5. I requested for a cup, it looked like something from 1960, i had to change my mind about using the cup. 5, The air conditioner was noisy like a generator, I couldn't sleep 6. The room was mosquito infested. I cant even begin to explain the grief 7 mismatched bathroom tiles, etc i cant even continue Even though its a budgethotel, point 1-4could be easily avoided. Do not stay here
