Every neighborhood in San Francisco has its own personality, from the hippie chic of the Upper Haight to the hipster grit of the Mission. The Marina district boasts trendy bistros and postcard-perfect views of the Golden Gate Bridge, while Noe Valley offers quaint and quiet boutiques. Wave hello to the sea lions at Pier 39, and sample local cheese and charcuterie at the Ferry Building. Sit in on a yoga session in Dolores Park or marvel at the Dutch Windmill across from Ocean Beach.

Magic Theatre is in its 51st year of operation as one of San Francisco's top theatres dedicated to the production of bold new plays. Magic is focused on cultivating new plays, playwrights, and audiences – and the production of explosive, entertaining, and ideologically robust plays that ask substantive questions about, and reflect the rich diversity of, the world in which we live. Magic got its start with the World Premiere of playwrights such as Sam Shepard and Michael McClure. In recent years Magic has been joined by many of today’s most exciting playwrights, such as Linda McLean, Teresa Rebeck, Lloyd Suh, Julie Marie Myatt, Christina Anderson, Luis Alfaro, Taylor Mac, and Mfoniso Udofia. Since Artistic Director, Loretta Greco, assumed leadership of Magic in 2008, the theatre has produced 22 world premieres, 17 of which have enjoyed extended life beyond the Magic stage, throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Reed & Greenough is the neighborhood cocktail lounge and piano bar for the neighbors and visitors alike - the perfect meeting place for before and after dinner drinks, with dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. We boast exceptional cocktails, signature drinks made with our own rooftop honey (try the Bees Knees!), fresh squeezed juices daily, and an impressive Whisk(e)y selection. Six nights a week we have live piano music. There's a game room with a shuffleboard & billiards in a unique, sophisticated setting. Great draft beer and wine selection with happy hour available too! We offer a cheese plate, but no other food is available. Please feel free to bring a meal in our establishment!

Designed to look like a Roman ruin, this golden building is certainly a beauty to behold.
I did not know about this place, my hotel was in the area and we were having an evening stroll and came across it and its the place for your IG or family shots While we were there in the twilight, there was a group taking wedding photos and another group all dressed u in their finery taking family shots. Evening is a good time because its less crowded, I can imagine taking photos would be trickier in the daytime because of more people. Its just beautiful. Its a lovely place to wander and take in the architecture and sit and contemplate (and take photos!)
