Fairfield is an affluent town located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. It borders the towns of Bridgeport, Trumbull, Easton, Weston, and Westport along the Gold Coast of Connecticut. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 59,404. In July 2006, Money magazine ranked Fairfield the ninth-best place to live in the United States, and the best place to live in the Northeast.

Established in 2004, StageOne is a 225 seat venue in the heart of downtown Fairfield, Connecticut. Originally built primarily for theatre productions, StageOne is consistently voted as the best place to hear live music in the entire region because of the quality of the sound, the intimacy of the space, and the caliber of the artists. There is literally not a bad seat in the house and there are few venues in the country where the fans can be so close to the world-renowned artists who grace the stage in over 200 concerts and productions a year. The artists love to perform here and frequently cite StageOne as their absolute favorite venue. This brings out the very best in them, which is reflected in the quality of their performances and enjoyment of their fans.
Came in from out of state to see a favorite band on StageOne. Excellent seats all around and small size gave the feeling of an intimate concert. Good staff, great bar, fast service. Easy to get to and in the heart of Fairfield. Wish we had an FTC.

The Quick Center for the Arts is on the Campus of Fairfield University. It is a beautiful piece of architecture. In addition to the Auditorium, it houses an Art collection. One can easily subscribe to is e-mail to be informed of the programs. In addition to live music, theatre and dance, it uses its giant projector and amazing sound system to deliver live Metropolitan Opera performances, Berlin Philharmonic performances, and live drama from London's National Theatre. Tickets can be purchased online or at the convenient box office; credit cards are accepted. Parking is free, convenient, and ample.
