My wife and I stayed at the Sahary Al Ula Resort for a night in January of 2022. Would I recommend this resort to a friend? Yes. Would I stay their again knowing what I know now about the resort? Yes. This would not be my first recommendation to stay in Al Ula. However it will do if you need a place to stay. The hotel is quite rustic. We stayed in a stand alone room which was not heated. Also, there was no phone to call the front desk if you needed something. The bathroom was dirty and old lookin. Breakfast that was included with the room was surprisingly good. If you found my review helpful please let me know by giving me a Thumbs Up.

We stayed for 3 nights in Madakhil beginning of March 2020 for visiting the Tandora Festival.A beautiful surrounding but otherwise a complete disaster. A camp without management. The rooms are okay but not well maintened although they have personell. Breakfast: it did not deserve that name. Dinner: although we were not many guests they were not able to provide us with something. They had to bring the food from outside and even this lasted over an hour to warm it up and place it on plates. Staff was nice, but without any guidance or a programme of what they could do. In such a camp you should provide adequate food and beverage.

I have stayed for 9 nights in the RVs at the Ashar resort and can only give compliments. It was in corona times and so I expect that due to that there were some limitations but overall an amazing experience. Dream exotic location, clean space, friendly people, delicious food (I had several meals in the main building and they even served us room service at dinner outside and prepared a fire set for us to sit at night - beautiful!)

I just stayed for 1 night here and loved it. We were given a cabin, but next time will try the tents, as the decor inside is amazing, it's in a very traditional style. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and perfect for a short stay. The temperatures dropped considerably at night, but extra blankets and a heater are provided. The area is surrounded by spectacular mountains, and we were invited to take fruit from the orchard during our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Local historic sites are within a short drive.
