Diamonds Old West Cabins! More than a luxury hotel, it is a unique, attraction to visit for the whole family - alive with Live Music, Civil War re-enactments, Pig Roasts, Cookouts, Bonfires, and more. Check our calendar for things to do on the weekend you are coming. Cabins set on 40 acres – nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains – take you back to the look and feel of an old west frontier town – all the buildings you would expect to see – yet, newly-built in 2012. Instead of visiting an old west museum, stay in one!
Our boys were so happy with this surprise trip! Very friendly and helpful. Jail cabin was fine for 1 or 2 nights, but would need something bigger for a longer stay. Loved all of the activities. Highly recommend Telinga’s for lunch and dinner and checking out the downtown shops!

Planned a very last minute trip from Chicago, Illinois to Murfreesboro, Arkansas. Managed to get a cabin that happened to have a cancellation and let’s just say wow. This place is fantastic! The owners are some of the most sweetest and friendliest individuals I have ever encountered. The views are just out of this world. Stayed in the Rustic Cabin and it was not bad at all. I think I have found a future vacation spot to continue booking. We were originally here for the Crater of Diamonds but this lodging establishment alone made the 11 hour car ride worth it. Will definitely be back again! We had a fantastic time! Thanks so much!

Miners' Camping & Rock Shop is located 200 yards past the entrance to the State Park. The campground, in a wooded setting, offers full service hookups for RV's and accommodates Big Rigs. There are three camping cabins and Free WiFi. The Rock Shop is loaded with Treasures from Fossils to Diamonds and is widely considered to be one of the best rock shops in Arkansas.
It was so interesting to walk through some of the shops. They have so many collections of rocks to look at and some worth many dollars. My family had a blast while we were here and in the whole town. Loved it.

Camping and other lodging next to Diamonds State Park. Lodging options include B&B in a log home, cabins, tipis. Activities include fishing, paddleboats, kayaks, petting zoo, water slide, picnicking, and horseshoes.
Me and my husband had a very relaxing few days here. We stayed in the largest cabin (which was all that was available at the time) , I forget the name of the cabin. We brought our cat with us, which most places don’t accept. Don’t expect the Hilton but, do expect a laid back, clean, beautiful, quiet, rustic place to relax at. The bed was super comfy!! Something you don’t find a lot at hotels,cabins,etc.. Owners were sweet and welcoming being we got in at 3:30ish in the morning. Yes, they need updating which seems to be going on while still renting out to customers. The hot tubs aren’t working and there’s only dogs and cats to play with/pet which was fine with us. We went diamond hunting (Before going to the mine, John paid for us to meet with and learn from one of the premiere diamond hunters and his wife in the area (Al and his wife, Alberta) on how to find diamonds. While at Al’s, we also got to meet and chat with Shirley Strawn, who found a 3.3 carat flawless diamond at the mine. We also went check out Board Camp’s Paranormal experience as well as took in all the beautiful scenery in the area. All in all, we will return to this charming, rustic getaway to visit our newfound friends..the owners, Claire and John. :). And to explore the beautiful state of Arkansas some more.
