After a short 25 minute bus trip from Airlie Beach we arrived at the local Proserpine airport . Soon we were airborne and flying over the islands and out to the incredible Great Barrier Reef . The view from above the reef was amazing and a myriad of changing colours . It was a truly breathtaking experience and totally worth doing .
