As seen on TV and THE "original" beaver tour, Nature Nuts offer our clients bespoke wildlife and nature tours to suit your needs. We have our own woodland hide that offers the sightings of jays, woodpeckers, red squirrels, a multitude of small birds, sparrowhawk and of course the pine marten plus so much more besides. Other tours on offer are adders, ptarmigan, black grouse lek and of course the beaver. Other tours can be organised, just ask and we will try and accommodate your needs. Half day and full day safaris are available on request.

We started at the bridge of Cally hotel car park and headed on the 8km section to Blairgowrie and down the round trip back to the bridge of Cally hotel.(highly recommend the food here ) This is a great walk through the countryside with great views and lots of wildlife to keep the kids entertained. Some of the trail was a little marshy but most was dry and good for walking on. A couple of small inclines but nothing to challenging. There’s a great tree swing for the kids about 200yards up from the hotel next to an old outhouse. The walk through the forest was lovely especially as it was autumn.

A very good alehouse. Staff know their beers and are very friendly. Comfortable shabby chique decor and nice dog. Beers are excellent...mostly locally sourced where possible. Real fire maintained and lit with considerable effort and occasional colourful language. ( joke) Without seeming to sound pretentious it is an intelligent pub with proper pub rubbish talked by all.
