Maybe you're not an Olympian, but if you're looking for a top-notch winter sports destination, Lake Placid is the place for you. Try bobsledding, downhill skiing, ice climbing, speed skating or even ski jumping, or just enjoy shopping in the town's boutiques and warming up in one of the many restaurants. But Lake Placid isn't just a winter wonderland. Beautiful Adirondack State Park, which is larger than Yosemite or Yellowstone National Parks, offers year-round outdoor activities.

I love boating and being on the water. My favorite part of the day is when I leave shore and head out on the lake. I rent pontoon boats and kayaks so that others can experience the lakes here in Highlands County, more specifically: Lake June, Lake Placid, Lake Huntley, Lake Clay, Lake Istokpoga, Lake Jackson, Lake Lotela and Lake Letta. If you rent a place on the water here in Highlands county, I will rent you a boat for your stay. Coming to Lake Placid? call me for all your boat rental needs!!!

Personal watercraft (PWC), also known as Jet Skis, are an exciting and fun way to spend the day. Our adventure tours are a short drive away from Lake Placid and take you up and down the Saranac Chain of Lakes. We offer half day adventure tours which explore Lower and Middle Saranac and full day tours which add several more Lakes and Ponds along the Saranac Lake system. Tours include lunch.

Wilderness beauty. Adirondack history. Serenity. Cruise the pristine waters of Lake Placid in one of our enclosed pontoon boats. The hour-long, narrated tour travels 16 miles on one of the world's most beautiful lakes. See and hear about the stately manors situated along the shore, Adirondack wildlife, and Whiteface Mountain, site of the alpine events during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. A Lake Placid boat tour is a must for all visitors to the Adirondacks. Rain or shine, it is truly a delightful experience.
