4.5 star Boutique Inn perfectly centred in the southern region of Gros Morne National Park. Minutes away from the Parks Canada Discovery Centre & the historic district of Woody Point. Great hiking close by on park and community trails. The 10 room Inn is located on the hillside overlooking Beautiful Bonne Bay. All rooms have ocean vistas. We offer fully licensed evening dining with creative local cuisine with a stunning view of the Bay in our Blue Ocean Room(closed for 2020 due to COVID-19). Guests of our Bonne Bay Inn & Seaside Suites are able to make advance reservations and then reservations open to the public. We have a fully licensed, elegant yet cozy hotel style pub, and fully licensed Jumpers Lobby Lounge.
Small hotel with 10 rooms, all looking at the bay. Extremely well appointed with everything one could want. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The menu in the dining room was limited, in keeping with the size of the place, but was excellent. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - well worth the drive. Gives easy access to the Tablelands part of Gros Morne National Park.

Seaside Suites is a 4 1/2 star waterfront accommodation in the quaint, historic seaside village of Woody Point. We are located in the heart of Gros Morne National Park with views of the Tableland Mountains, Gros Morne Mountain and the ocean waters of Bonne Bay. There is nothing more soothing and scenic as the views and sounds of the ocean. We have two buildings, across the street from each other, one over the water and one across the street from the water; the Over the Water Building (which IS over the water) is home to the Gros Morne, Tablelands and Lighthouse Suites. Our Seashell Suites as well as Seaside Souvenirs and our Seaside Deli & Dairy Bar are located directly across from the town wharf, where you can try fishing, take in the scenic views with your morning coffee, or catch the water taxi to Norris Point for an outing. We have five well appointed suites. When you settle in at Seaside Suites, you can stroll and enjoy our quaint, scenic village.
We stayed at these wonderful over the water suites at the end of May. When Darlene opened the room to show us around we were so excited to be SO close to the water! The rooms are large, light and airy with a delightfully comfy bed. The small kitchenette was well equipped for 4 with a microwave and fridge. The bathroom was large with a deep self standing tub which was wonderful after long days of hiking. The best part though was the deck outside our doors. We bundled up in the evenings and watched the sun go down, we bundled up in the mornings to watch the sun rise and hopefully see a whale but alas we did not this time! A fishing rod with a lure supplied and available in both rooms which was so fun for my husband who loves to fish. He caught a Sculpin within the first 5 mins! Darlene and Rachel made us feel so welcome. They offered to cook us a lobster and crab dinner one night which was just fabulous! They brought everything over already cooked and prepared with bibs, napkins, crackers for a very reasonable fee and a memorable evening. We were given a bowl each evening with breakfast which included bread, peanut butter, yogurts, fruit, muffins . Perfect continental breakfast. Woody Point had not fully opened when we were there but still a historic interesting town to explore with historic buildings, craft shops and a few restaurants. The Merchant Warehouse down the road was the only option for dinner when we were there. Good fish and chips. A busy fishing plant next door to the suites so fun to watch all the fishing activity going on in the area. I would recommend that if you are self catering that you shop in Deer Lake before you come down to Woody Point as there are limited choices for fresh food. Highly recommend Seaside Suites!

Just spent three days (and nights) at Writers at Woody Point. A fabulous writer festival. I was lucky enough to get a room at Aunt Jane’s Place. It was like going back in time. A beautiful heritage home. The down stairs has a store front full of antiques. A large old fashion kitchen and a comfy living room. The upstairs consists of five rooms. Only one ( possibly two) has an en-suite. The others share a bathroom. The rooms are cozy and smallish. The house is right on the front street of the beautiful fishing village of Woody Point. A lovely cafe across the street. Galliott’s Cafe and pottery studio. And for the best fish and chips go to The Merchant Warehouse across the street. Brenda, the housekeeper at Aunt Jane’s is so helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the area. She prepared us a beautiful breakfast every morning, great coffee, fresh blueberry muffins and the best fruit salad I’ve ever eaten. All in all a great experience. I felt like I was at my grannie’s house. Will definitely be back.

Blanchard House, built in 1904, is an historical dwelling that was designated a Registered Heritage Structure on April 26, 2013 by the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland & Labrador. It housed the first Newfoundland Constabulary Constable posted to patrol the Great Northern Peninsula in the 1930's. Today it has been restored to its early 20th century charm while providing modern amenities for the visitor.
An old house used as a B and B in the heart of beautiful woody Point. Within walking distance of the town centre, this house is comfortable and clean. A filling breakfast with choice of eggs, toast or cereal and toast with fruit and yoghurt. The house hasn't had any modern updates if you prefer those.

4 of us stayed at Aunt Dororthy's house for 4 nights...….and it was perfection! The house is beautiful, perfectly clean....and the view is undescribable! The location makes anything in Woody Point accessible by foot. The view from the veranda is magnificent. Would have loved to have been able to stay longer.
