Glasgow Tigers Speedway is Glasgow's only true motorsport venue. Glasgow Tigers compete in the Championship League of UK speedway and race every Friday at 19:30 from March to October. There are also occasional midweek races. Speedway is a fast and exhilarating sport and involves motorbikes, with no brakes, whizzing around an oval circuit at speeds of up to 70 mph. Speedway is also a family sport where kids can get involved with the 'Growlers' Club' and get to meet Roary, our Tiger Mascot. Glasgow Tigers' facility is one of the best in UK speedway and has fantastic catering facilities, a bar and some great viewing areas. The stadium is also fully wheelchair accessible.

Inverness Kart Raceway, or IKR for short, is a purpose-built, fully modernised, indoor go-karting arena. Sporting the most up-to-date technology, our karts, track and timing systems are state of the art. Only a few minutes drive from the city centre and on easy bus routes. With a fully indoors go-karting arena we can offer our facility in all weathers, at all times of the year and after dark too.
We visited this attraction whilst on a short holiday to Inverness and what a great place we found. We mainly went here because my two grandsons wanted to go karting. As you enter the building you enter a cafe style room and viewing area. The participants have to purchase balaclavas, currently £3, but race suits, gloves and crash helmets are provided. On your first ever visit you have to participate in the arrive and drive package. This consists of 2 x 7 minute sessions. On future visits you can participate in a Grand Prix, 2 x 5 minute heats and a 10 lap race. Also available are Dual Karts, these karts take juniors from 5 years old in the passenger seat whilst been driven by a trained Marshall. Prices for children currently range from £14 to £26. When my grandsons came off the track I asked them for their thoughts. One said “It was great”. The other replied “Proper fast!” They enjoyed it so much we plan to visit again before we head for home. The viewing area also hold a kick the football machine and a boxing punch bag machine. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Drinks, hot and cold, snacks and pizza can be purchased. Staff are smartly dressed, polite and friendly. Inverness Kart Raceway donate all their profits to Day 1 Charity. Inverness Kart Raceway is a great place for adults and children to have fun. A visit is highly recommend.

Some buzz. Booked a mini grand prix event for 18 with the utmost ease and helpfulness thanks to Glen and it was outstanding. Actual racing itself was fast-paced, well organised and superb value for money. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I look forward to returning soon for much needed practice laps and for the grand prix to be an annual tradition.

What a day I’ve had today, such a great experience and sure is one I’ll remember All COVID-19 rules were handled very well and lots of hygiene measures in place. Would 100% recommend people to do the fast and furious GTR as this was for sure my favourite and the staff member I had (Kevin) for it done an excellent job and even got a fair few extra laps out of me.
Lochgelly Raceway provides stock car racing throughout the year from March until November. With a great line up of formula and an excellent family friendly venue, it's easy to sit back and enjoy the racing. From Banger demolition derbies, to fast and furious National Hot Rod racing, we always have something for everyone.
