Blue Mind Gallery is a fine art and craft gallery located in the historic village of Bear River. Owned and operated by Carmen and David Chamberland, the gallery features artwork in a wide range of mediums created primarily by artists of Nova Scotia. Wheelchair accessible. The Yarmouth Waterfront Gallery is a coop gallery representing over 30 regional artists in its May through October season. Displays includes paintings, photographs, prints, jewellery, carvings and fibre art. The gallery is staffed by the artists who have knowledge of the local art scene and the artists in the gallery. It is located in an old industrial building. Seating area and free wi-fi.
A true artists cooperative, on Yarmouth's harbourfront, the Yarmouth Waterfront Gallery boasts an extremely diverse collection of art works from a wide variety if disciplines from painting to photography to jewelry to fabric work. One of the coop members is always on hand to help you. A great place to visit on purpose, because of inclement weather, or if you're just waiting for the ferry. Free high speed WiFi too! Two thumbs up!
